CHESS TITANS for Windows XP Pro
Dear Experts,I like the CHESS Titans game that comes with Windows 7 - However, I will not be using Windows 7 until the 64 bit drivers and new software is available - it will slow me down too much.I suppose I could put on Windows 7 64 bit as a dual boot - but this seems to be a waste, just to play the Chess game.So for the present I would be obliged if anyone knows, where I can get a good CHESS game, with good graphics to use on Windows XP Pro.Yours ever, TLS

OK, but it doesn't play particularly well, and it's very easy to beat.

The *best* chess-playing program is Rybka4 (see
http://www.chessbase.com/newsdetail.asp?newsid=6382). It's very
strong, and very hard to beat. I'm a fairly decent player, but I
haven't beaten it yet.

chess titans is easy to beat if you do not change the settings options to harder. Once you do that it is very challenging

he and I am looking for free chess for windows xp. If we wanted to buy chess we would not need you to tell us where to go. chessbase.com is a place to buy chess. I have found one place online to play chess. chess.com.
It is kind of hard to find your way around the site at first, but it is spam free and virus free but does seem to have a few glitches, but you can play chess with other people online once you figure out how

What is the point of multiple post for a product to run in Windows XP in a windows 7 forum. This is retarded. If you want Chess Titans for XP, then you need to let Microsoft know, not post in a peer-to-peer forum.
If you take the time to search the internet you can find what you're asking for. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Moreover there are several Chess programs that are much better than
Chess Titans. Here are three:
1. Rybka 4
2. Fritz 12
3. Houdini 1.5a (free)
